Good location. Nice breakfast. Room is clean and surprisingly not noisy although my room is just beside the main road.

They charge 3% for credit card and online booking. The staff at the newer Mixok inn 20m away is more friendly and helpful and room price is the same. Mixok Inn had 4 rooms available for online booking but had more rooms than that. Can try your luck as walk in customer.

The staff were very friendly, they helped us book a onward bus journey to Vang Vieng for a cheaper price than anywhere else we could find in town.

Do not stay here. We booked a std dble aircon room for 200,000 kip. The hotel is grubby, junk in the halls of every floor. You could get over all of that had the room been up to scratch but sadly no. Very basic room, tiny bedclothes for a couple to share. To top it all off the toilet was leaking water onto the floor which we accidentally stepped in a couple of times. We had planned to stay 2 nights but checked out the next morning and booked into the similar sister Mixok Inn a few doors down for only 150,000kip. The layout of the rooms and building was similar but the standard was much higher. I would recommend the Inn not the guesthouse

Great location, plain but very quiet and comfortable room with aircon / fan and tv (no refrigerator). Virtually mozzy free. Nice big comfortable bed a bonus for this price. No complementary water but big bottles avaialble in the lobby for 5,000 kip. Good value all in all.

Hugely inflated fare for a ride to the airport on departure, which was five to ten minutes away (on asking the distance I was told half an hour and actually adjusted my departure time accordingly). This sort of practice is pretty much standard for guest houses in Vientiane, but it was a disappointing end to an otherwise comfortable and freindly experience. The answer is to haggle with a tuktuk and never book a ride with the hotel I guess.
